Chronic Pain

Insomnia 

I've been a lifelong insomniac. I have been awake at 3am more nights of my life than I've been asleep. I fall asleep fine but then I'm wide awake between 2 and 4 every night and I can't nap during the day.  I've seen various doctors over the years and even took a sleep test when I was in college.  If you've ever suffered through a day at the office after a sleepless night, you know the agony that just one lost night of sleep can cause, now multiply that by a whole lifetime and you'll have an idea of the complete lack of quality of life I was experiencing.

After a cancer diagnosis, I decided I had to get this sleep thing under control, it became a matter of life and death. I started seeing every natural doctor I could find to no avail. On a whim, I made an appointment with Cedar, though I'd tried other Acupuncturists without much success. Cedar was the first person to honestly take a whole body approach to my health and in doing so, has helped me sleep like a baby and has given me a new lease on life. I finally have the energy to catch up on mountains of piled up projects and to start my own business which I never could have done while sleepwalking through my life.

Cedar is a master herbalist and though it took a couple tries, we settled on a formula that has given me my life back. I had to miss a few days due to another medical test I was taking which required no supplements for 6 days, and consequently I didn't sleep a night that week. As soon as I started back on Acupuncture and herbs though, my sleep and my sanity returned!

Hemorrhoids 

"I have sought Cedar's care on several occasions.  Her herbs and tinctures have helped  with colds, coughs and even tight muscles.  
Being a performing musician can take a toll on the body in many ways.  As a
keyboardist sitting on my rear for long periods, my hemorrhoids (caused by pregnancy) were becoming unbearable!  After the birth of my second child I had them worse than ever. Allergies / Pain 

"Initially I asked Cedar to treat me for seasonal allergies because I didn't like the long term side effects of the nasal steroids I had come to depend on.  During the initial
interview I was pleased to find out that she could also treat arthritis pain in my knees,
muscle pain in my back & depression as well.  
I'm very pleased that after a handful of visits, I no longer have sharp pain and very little stiffness in my knees. The muscle pain in my back is gone.  My allergies this season
